Attaching Files
The
Attachments
tab allows you to attach native documents without having to
convert them to fax format first. The conversion to fax format happens
automatically in the background. The only requirement is that the application
must be installed on your client PC.
Supported Applications
The following types of applications have been validated on FaxPress:
• Word 6.0, 7.0, 97, 2000
• Excel 5.0, 7.0, 97, 2000
• PowerPoint 4.0, 7.0, 97, 2000
• WordPerfect 7.0
• Quatro Pro 7.0
• Presentations 7.0
• WordPro 96
• Lotus 123 R5
• Free Lance Graphics 96
• Netscape Navigator
• MS Internet Explorer
• Adobe Acrobat
• PaintBrush
•WordPad
Output files from other applications that support Shell execution methods may
also be successfully attached. To determine whether your attachment works with
FaxPress:
1. Highlight the file in Windows Explorer.
2. Right click to display the context menu and verify that the
Print
option is
displayed.
